கொழும்பைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், யாழ். கல்வியங்காடு, கனடா Scarborough ஆகிய இடங்களை வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்ட சண்முகநாதன் கனகரத்தினம் அவர்கள் 30-09-2026 புதன்கிழமை அன்று காலமானார்.

அன்னார், முருகேசு கனகரத்தினம், பராசக்தி தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு மகனும்,

கல்வியங்காட்டைச் சேர்ந்த கேதீஸ்வரி அவர்களின் அன்புக் கணவரும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான திலகவதி, சத்தியவதி, கருணாகரன், வடிவழகி, சர்வானந்தம் மற்றும் விநாயகமூர்த்தி ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சகோதரரும்,

தர்மராஜா மால்மருகன்(UK), தர்மராஜா பத்மகுமார்(USA), காலஞ்சென்ற அகிலாண்டேஸ்வரி விவேகாந்தராஜா, சாரதாதேவி தர்மராஜா, வேதநாயகி ஜெயக்குமார் ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனரும் ஆவார்.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Shanmuganathan Kanagaratnam, who passed away in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, on September 30, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, he was a mechanical engineer and the beloved husband of Ketheeswary Tharmarajah Shanmuganathan of Kalviyankadu.

He was the son of Murugesu Kanagaratnam and Parasakthi Kandia Kanagaratnam.

He was the beloved brother of the late Thilagavathy, the late Sathyavathy, the late Karunakaran, the late Vadivalagi, the late Sarvanantham, and Vinayagamoorthy.

He was the beloved brother-in-law of Tharmarajah Malmarugan(UK), Tharmarajah Pathmakumar(USA), the late Mrs. Ahilandeswary Vivekantharajah, Ms. Sarathadevy Tharmarajah, and Mrs. Vethanayaki Jeyakumar.

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, family, relatives, and friends.
